How To Find Colonics

There are many ways to find a Colon Hydrotherapist, but finding the right one is another challenge. The following Websites can help, Yellow Pages and most importantly Personal Referrals from Family & Friends. Below are specific questions you can ask before making an appointment to insure the center's credibility.

Websites:
www.I-act.org
www.therapistsearch.com
or google colonics on google

QUESTIONS:

1. ARE THE THERAPISTS I-ACT CERTIFIED? Advanced levels preferred
(International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy)

2. WHAT TYPE OF MACHINE IS USED?
Closed systems only. ie:Hydro Sans or Dotello

3. ARE THEY IN CLINICAL SETTING?
Be wary of a set up in a home unless it's separate from the main part of the house.

4. HOW MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE HAS THE THERAPIST HAD, AND HOW MUCH CLINICAL TRAINING.

This is probably the most IMPORTANT QUESTION. This will determine how confident you will be with your therapist.

20 years experience may not be what you think. It could be 20 years of incorrect procedures or not up to date with current regulations. Or just out of school with no practical experience.

**Always feel free to set a 2 minute appointment to see the facility before scheduling. That leaves no room for surprises.

**Do not be pressured to buy and supplements or products from the center. Only if you are educated to why you need anything, and feel comfortable with the purchase. Making changes with Hydration, Nutrition and Colon Hydrotherapy should be sufficient.
